As a Finger Lakes native, Chip graduated from the State University of New York College at Brockport with a Bachelors of Science and magna cum laude honors and then attended Syracuse University College of Law with an interest in corporate law. In 2018, Chip was named to the National Association of REALTORS and REALTOR Magazine's "30 Under 30", recognizign the country's 30 leaders in the real estate industry under the age of 30. Chip has been quoted as an expert in the New York Times, Washington Post, Mansion Global, Democrat & Chronicle, and Post-Standard.

In his free time, Chip enjoys spending time on Keuka Lake, traveling, wakeboarding, skiing, and trying new restaurants. Chip holds several board and committee positions for non-profit organizations, including the Ronald McDonald House, Keuka Lake Association and the REALTORS Charitable Foundation. He is an avid volunteer and supporter of the United Way and Golisano Children's Hospital.
